Dutch cartoonist Adriaan Soeterbroek did it again: he has upset PVV leader Geert Wilders with another of his cartoons.

Earlier this year Soeterbroek saw one of his cartoons removed from the website Joop.nl after a number of serious threats were made to some of his colleagues. In his cartoon he associated a housing policy proposed by Mr Wilders to a Nazi measure.

Now, half a year later he has got the PVV leader fuming again over a cartoon depicting the politician stabbed with a pair of scissors. Walking away from him is Dutch Queen Beatrix who is also carrying scissors in her hand and bag. The cartoon is again published by Joop.nl and is referring to a PVV’s proposal to dramatically reduce the powers of the Dutch royal house.

Once more public opinion is divided: how far does freedom of speech go?
