An editor will take almost any story coming from the Dutch capital which is related to drugs, prostitution or politician Geert Wilders. That is not to say that's all journalists want to report about. In fact, sometimes the hardest task about being a freelance correspondent in the Netherlands is trying to sell the not-so-bizarre stories that don't live up to the stereotypes of what people believe the Netherlands to be.
